LSAT Workshops (Group)
Currently, FuturePrep London offers three different topic-based LSAT Workshops (on an ad-hoc basis), one for each of the three scored sections of the LSAT exam. They are as follows:
1. LSAT Workshop - Logical Reasoning (LR)
The 20-hour LSAT Logical Reasoning workshop provides students with a comprehensive review of the Logical Reasoning section of the LSAT exam. This workshop will discuss each of the main Logical Reasoning Question Types (Strengthen, Weaken, etc.) that are tested on the exam as well as discuss optimal solution methodologies for each of these Question Types.
The workshop will also provide an in-depth review of all required Logical Reasoning theory (i.e. Argument Components, Argument Patterns, etc.) as well as introduce a full set of analytical tools and techniques (such as CPA Analysis) for this section of the exam.
Additionally, the workshop will discuss a variety of time management issues (i.e. pacing strategies, aggressive guessing, etc.) as well as review each of the major New/Advanced Logical Reasoning topics tested on the exam (i.e. Formal Logic, Contrapositive Theory, etc.).
2. LSAT Workshop - Analytical Reasoning (AR)
The 25-hour LSAT Analytical Reasoning workshop provides students with a comprehensive review of the Analytical Reasoning (Games) section of the LSAT exam. This workshop will discuss each of the main Analytical Reasoning Game Types (Sequences, Grouping, etc.) and Sub-Types (Linear/Degree, Circle/Square, Selection/Distribution, etc.) that are tested on the exam.
A significant part of the workshop will involve introducing a comprehensive set of standardised diagramming techniques that can be used to solve any of the various Game Types and Question Types that appear on the exam. The workshop will review each of these major Question Types in detail (If/Which, Could/Must, True/False, etc.) as well as discuss optimal solution methodologies for each of them.
Lastly, the workshop will also review each of the main New/Advanced Game Topics (Formal Logic, Contrapositive Theory, etc.) and New/Advanced Game Types (Hybrid games, Mapping games, etc.) tested on the exam.
3. LSAT Workshop - Reading Comprehension (RC)
The 5-hour LSAT Reading Comprehension workshop provides students with a comprehensive review of the Reading Comprehension (and Essay) section of the LSAT exam.
The first portion of this workshop will discuss each of the main Reading Comprehension Question Types (i.e. Main Idea, Specific, Structure, etc.) that are tested on the exam as well as discuss optimal solution methodologies for each of these Question Types.
The second portion of this workshop will provide an in-depth review of each of the major New/Advanced RC topics that are now tested on the exam (i.e. Comparative Reading) as well as discuss how to approach and write a proper response to the LSAT Essay Section (i.e. Writing Sample/Decision Prompt).
